Due to the fact that the casting does not receive timely secondary pouring during the crystallization process, gaps appear between the solidified metals. These gaps are distributed irregularly in the form of lines or tree branches in the casting, and in severe cases, they may even penetrate the entire casting.
The surface of the die-cast part presents raised and depressed patterns like strands of hair, and these marks continuously expand and extend with the increase of die-casting times.
