The characteristics and causes of burrs and frayed edges

Characteristics: Metal thin sheets appear on the edge of the parting surface of the die-cast part.

Causes:
① Insufficient clamping force;
② Excessive injection speed, resulting in pressure shock peaks;
③ Unremoved debris on the parting surface;
④ Insufficient mold strength leading to deformation;
⑤ Wear of inserts and sliders and unevenness with the parting surface.
