Feature: There are depressed areas on the smooth surface of the casting.
(2) Causes:
① The wall thickness of the casting varies greatly, and the thick part is prone to develop depressions;
② The mold is locally overheated, causing the solidification of this part to be slow;
③ The injection pressure ratio is insufficient;
④ The mold is at high temperature, making it difficult for the gas in the cavity to escape, and it is compressed between the cavity surface and the molten metal.
