① When smelting aluminum-silicon alloys, silicon powder should be avoided;
② When adjusting the alloy composition, silicon element should not be directly added but an intermediate alloy should be used instead;
③ Increase the melting and pouring temperatures;
④ Strictly control the alloy composition, especially the content of iron impurities, to prevent segregation of iron and manganese elements;
⑤ Ensure that the silicon content in the alloy neither approaches nor exceeds the eutectic composition;
⑥ Conduct strict screening of raw materials and control the amount of primary silicon in the matrix metallographic structure.
